Will it work with my email program?

All the stationery supplied by Email Stationery Store will work with all major email clients, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, and even some online email applications such as Gmail, Yahoo, Live, Hotmail. As long as your email program supports HTML or Rich Text then it will work.

Can it link back to pertinent pages of my website?

Yes - we will include embedded links back to your website underneath your graphics.

In some cases it may be appropriate to incorporate a more complex navigational menu in your stationery design. There are some limitations to this, due to the inability of email to reliably process scripting technologies. However, basic designs can often be accommodated nicely.

Will it be blocked by spam filters?

Highly unlikely - our straight forward HTML programming uses no scripting technologies, and the graphics are served rather than embedded, allowing messages to pass anti-virus and SPAM filters just as well as any standard HTML message composed on Outlook or Outlook Express would. This is pure, by-the-book, HTML email coded using best-practice (for deliverability and accurate rendering) techniques.

Our email stationery (and signature & business card products) are in use by 1000's of senders worldwide and over 18 million business email messages are delivered on them each year. The feedback on undeliverable messages from our client base is almost non-existent.

That being said, many anti-SPAM filters provide a myriad of "rules" and sensitivity settings for users to choose from, thus making any guarantee of deliverability of any email message impossible. The simple rule of thumb is this - if a recipient has their anti-SPAM threshold set so high that messages composed on our email stationery are not being delivered, there are many other legitimate email communications that are being lost to this recipient.

If you find that messages to a particular recipient or company are not being delivered, the best possible approach is to ask them to "whitelist" your domain, ensuring that all of your messages are being delivered no matter what. White listing can sometimes be done at the recipient level (just by adding your email address to their email address book), and other times must be done at the corporate level by the system administrator.

Will it take longer to send or receive?

No - because we serve the graphics when the email is opened, rather than embed the picture files, the size of an email message composed on our stationery is only 1k larger than a plain text email. An increase of 1k is negligible.

What if Any contact details change in the future

We can easily modify your stationery at any time for you. These changes usually cost less than R 50.

What if my message is too long and does not fit?

The electronic "paper" that makes up your stationery background will automatically get longer as your message gets longer. The result is that your message will always look good, no matter how short or long it is.

Can a disclaimer or confidentiality notice be added?

Yes, we have added confidentiality statements to the bottom of stationery for many attorneys and financial advisors. We will use your exact wording, and will display the statement using a small font size beneath the stationery's background "paper." Visually this works very well, and there is no extra charge for this addition.

Is it a good professional practice to use email stationery?

Ask yourself this: Is it good professional business practice to send out unbranded communications? Of course not. Branding is one of the cornerstones of any business's success, and is increasingly important in an environment where traditional advertising is less effective.
Of course, the email stationery you use must be designed by professional graphic artists and coded by software engineers who understand the many nuances of email.
